Taylor Swift Makes Clint Eastwood’s Day

He is as tough as they come. But Clint Eastwood knows he needs to stay relevant in order to stay in touch with the younger Hollywood types, so he listens to the music they listen to. Like Taylor Swift. He told MTV, “Taylor Swift? I kind of like her. I was listening to some the other day. And I think I like her.” I think that’s a good strategy for keeping the arts part of your mind hip. Not matter how old you get, you never want to be the one who doesn’t see the musical evolution going on all around you. Like Eastwood says, “I’d be pretty embarrassed if I’m going, ‘Taylor who?’ Sometimes you listen to pop radio, just to see what’s going on. You don’t necessarily have to embrace it, but you want to know what’s going on, so when you mention Taylor Swift, at least I can say, ‘Yeah, I know who she is.’”
