It seems like everyone and their three best friends is releasing a new album this fall. In the past couple of weeks, we’ve heard about new releases on the horizon from Carrie Underwood, Rosanne Cash, Tim McGraw…they just keep coming. And now Jamey Johnson has announced his new album will be out this fall.
There’s no exact date yet, but the first single, “My Way to You,” has already released to country radio and will be available as a free download from his Web site on Aug. 3. While Johnson is jumping on the digital bandwagon with the free download, he’ll also be throwing hardcore collectors a bone by releasing the album on vinyl.
The as-yet-untitled disc will follow his critically acclaimed 2008 release That Lonesome Song, which was certified Gold and earned Johnson an ACM award for Song of the Year.
