Boy, those folks in Indianapolis sure know how to make a guy feel welcome. They are rolling out the $200,000 red carpet for Kenny Chesney in September. That’s how much it’s costing the Lucas Oil Stadium to get things up to par, sound-wise. After a lot of complaints from fans after his 2008 show, they are spending the big bucks to hang gigantic drapes over the concrete to help with the echo problem. Chesney himself has spent a half-million dollars upgrading his sound output, so it makes sense he’d want the stadium to do its part. And in other Chesney concert news, a fan was arrested at last Saturday’s (June 20) show in North Dakota for barfing on the fans in front of him. No word on how the sound quality was on that.
