Huck and Jasper, the two littlest guys in Brad Paisley’s household, have changed Paisley’s life. And he seems totally good with that. Before his sons came along, he asked his preacher what to expect: “He said, ‘You will give up a lot of things quickly, and you won’t remember what they are and you won’t care.’ He has two boys, and he said, ‘I have never in my life missed anything I haven’t been able to do due to being a father.’ It’s sort of true that way. Your life will change. You just don’t have any idea how.” Truer words have never been spoken. But Paisley’s also a realist, and told The Tennessean newspaper that when you find out you’re having a boy, the first think you think is, “He is going to set the living room rug on fire,” and “He is going to get caught drawing pictures of naked ladies in third grade.” Only time will tell if Huck and Jasper are anything like their dad.
